1. During a meeting of the Racquet and Tennis Club, New York City, on February 21, 1931, at which a number of clubs were represented,
rules for playing backgammon were formulated and agreed upon. The Racquet and Tennis Club was was authorized to reserve a
copyright to such laws. The Laws are effective as of April 17th, 1931 and were published in this booklet.
