"I agree that the book is excellent, especially re. checker play. Robertie's Advanced
Backgammon volumes are heavily loaded on cube play, and Modern Backgammon
(except for the Grandell/Ballard annotation), is almost exclusively checker play
oriented. So I think Robertie gave us a nice balance with these major efforts.
